Third graders really enjoyed this field trip that came to us. Each class was visited by a scientist from High Tech High Touch and participated in a program called Cosmic Capers. The students were involved in hands-on activities that supported science objectives from their Earth, Moon, and Sun unit.

The first graders went to Mr. Brown's Farm. They went on hayrides and went through a corn maze. In the maze, the students collected corn, soy beans, sunflowers, and greens to feed the animals. The cows loved all the food but the little piglets had more corn then they knew what to do with. Each student received a pumpkin. A good time was had by all.
