To wrap a fun-filled year, Holt families met at the Museum of Life and Science for science night. Students and parents were able to explore the butterfly house, an insectarium, and much more!

First grade classes made terrariums as part
of their science unit. First, we put some gravel in the bottom then we put
some moist soil on top of the gravel. Next we put plants, rocks, leaves
and pieces of wood.Then we got to put in our pill bugs and snails. We are getting millipeds next week to add to our terrariums. Boy did we have a great time! |
